CARY, N.C. -- The USA Baseball 15U National Team coaching staff announced the 34 athletes moving on to Phase Two of the 2018 15U National Team Trials on Tuesday, trimming the roster from the initial 72.
The 34 athletes are divided into two teams, the Stars and Stripes, and will play in a two-game series beginning Thursday, August 2 at Coleman Field at the National Training Complex. Coaching the Stars will be Steve Butler and Eric Borba, while veterans Rob Shabansky and Troy Cameron lead the Stripes. The 20 members of the 15U National Team will then be selected on Friday, August 3.
The 2018 15U National Team will participate in training in Cary from August 4-7 before traveling to David, Panama, for the 2018 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Baseball World Cup.
