
From high school to the pros, USA Baseball alumni were all over the baseball landscape in 2025. Team USA members provided the heartbeat for America's pastime through many crucial plays and fantastic outings. Click the links below to check out some of the best performances, from each month, among Team USA alumni across every level of the sport.
Week of April 7
College/Prep (April 7-13)
Two-time USA Baseball alum and UT Tyler flamethrower Rawley Hector (2017 15U, 2019 18U) contributed to an 11-0 shutout win over Sul Ross State on April 11. Hector got the start on the bump and was immaculate through five frames. Despite yielding five hits, Hector kept Sul Ross State scoreless in his outing. He also notched a tied-for-season-best 10 strikeouts without giving up a walk. In 2025, Hector owns a 6-1 record with 63 punchouts through 55 innings on the mound.
Samuel Dutton (2018 15U) turned in his second straight scoreless start to lead No. 9 Auburn past No. 3 LSU in an 8-4 victory. Pitching against his former team, Dutton held LSU batters in check through six innings, allowing a mere three hits throughout his outing. The senior out of Southside, Alabama, nabbed seven punchouts with two walks to earn his fifth win of the season.
Eric Becker (2024 CNT) and the Virginia Cavaliers enjoyed a 13-0 seven-inning victory over VCU on Tuesday, April 8. While the Virginia pitching staff kept VCU scoreless, Becker paced the offense with a 3-for-4 outing. The sophomore was a triple shy from the cycle and raked in a tied-for-career-best four RBIs thanks to a double and a homer. Becker also found his way to the base path via a walk and scored on three occasions.
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets went 3-1 on the week and Drew Burress (2012 15U, 2024 CNT) was a huge reason why. The sophomore slugger went 7-for-17 (.412) with five RBIs and runs scored each in a four-game slate. Throughout the four-game span, Burress cracked two doubles and a triple, aiding his squad in scoring 35 total runs. On the year, Burress is hitting .368 and sits third in the nation with 19 doubles in 36 games.

Week of March 31
College/Prep (March 31-April 6)
Georgia Tech’s Drew Burress (2012 15U, 2024 CNT) continued his stellar 2025 campaign as one of college baseball’s best in a four-game slate that saw the Yellow Jackets square off against Mercer and take on Stanford in a three-game series. The sophomore went 7-for-18 (.388) with three homers through four games. Burress also slapped home seven runs and scored seven times to help power the offense. On the year, Burress owns 41 RBIs on 46 hits.
Nothing could get in the way of Camden Kozeal (2022 18U) plating runs in Vanderbilt’s three-game series versus Missouri. Kozeal gathered up a whopping 13 RBIs on nine hits. The Nebraska product cracked three doubles and two homers in the series, giving him 18 total bases within the three-game span. He also scored eight times, aiding Vanderbilt in outscoring Missouri 51-9.
Kade Anderson (2021 18U) and the LSU Tigers blanked the Oklahoma Sooners, 2-0, behind Anderson’s complete-game shutout on April 3. Anderson, whose longest career outing prior to the complete game was 6.1 innings, limited the Sooners to five hits and two walks while tallying a career-best 14 strikeouts. Anderson threw a total of 135 pitches through nine frames with 91 of them being strikes.
