West Palm Beach, Fla. - First baseman Aiden Mastantuno of 5 Star National Burress has earned the first Player of the Day title at the 16U National Team Championships in Florida. Mastantuno hit 2-for-3 with a double, two runs, four RBIs and a three-run home run during his team's 14-5 win over Orlando Reds 16U.
CJ Collins of 5 Star 16U McCranie/Kellum and Bradley Hernandez of Team Siege Prospects 2021 were named co-Pitchers of the Day. The two helped their teams hold the other to one run, with the game ending in a 1-1 tie. Collins threw for a shutout with four hits scattered in his five innings on the mound and struck out one batter. Hernandez threw a perfect three innings with no runs on no hits and three strikeouts.
