CARY, N.C. - Brenden Lewis pitched a complete game and drove in two runs to lead San Diego Show past Top Tier Americans in the bronze medal game of the 2019 11U Futures Invitational at Thomas Brooks Park on Sunday.

Lewis earned the win on the mound for San Diego Show (3-2) after holding the Top Tier Americans' (3-2) offense to one unearned run in the game. Christopher Sampson suffered the loss for the Top Tier Americans, allowing four runs on eight hits in his four innings of work.
Lewis also led San Diego Show at the plate, finishing the game going 4-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Nathan K contributed a 3-for-4 day with a pair of RBIs and James Cark also tallied two hits and scored three runs to lead the San Diego Show to a bronze medal. Brayden Waggoner and Christopher Sampson both went 2-for-3 on the day to pace Top Tier Americans.
Key Moments:

• James Clark, Brenden Lewis and Nathan Keyes opened the game with three-straight singles to give San Diego Show an early 1-0 lead, and Andrew Langer grounded into a fielder's choice to bring home the second run of the inning.
• Back-to-back two-out singles from James Clark and Brendan Lewis put runners on the corner for Nathan Keyes, who then recorded his second RBI of the game with a single to center field to extend the San Diego Show lead to 3-0 in the top of the second.
• Kayden Henson led off the fourth inning with a single for the San Diego Show and later scored on a Lewis RBI-single to extend the lead for four runs.
• James Clark led off the top half of the seventh inning with a walk and stole second three pitches later. Brenden Lewis added another insurance run for the San Diego Show with his second RBI-single, scoring C to take a 5-0 lead into the bottom of the seventh.
• Lewis put two more runs on the board with a pair of RBI-singles in the fourth and seventh innings as the San Diego Show took a 5-0 advantage.
• Top Tier Americans plated its lone run in the top of the seventh after Jonathan Lopez scored on an error by the shortstop.
