CARY, N.C. – Sixty-seven Team USA alumni were named to Major League Baseball wild card and postseason rosters.
All 12 rosters featured two or more USA Baseball alumni. The New York Yankees led all teams with nine alumni, while the Kansas City Royals featured eight. The Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, and New York Mets each had seven former Team USA players.
The list features 19 gold medalists, and 15 members of the 2023 World Baseball Classic team.
The World Series between the Dodgers and Yankees was covered in stars in stripes as the teams combined for 15 alumni, including World Series MVP Freddie Freeman (2005 15U & 2006 18U).
Additionally, 17 of the Team USA alumni listed below represented the stars and stripes more than once, highlighted by five-time alum Alex Bregman (2010 16U, 2011 18U, 2013, 2014 Collegiate, 2017 Pro).
