CARY, N.C. – After four days of competition at the 17U National Team Championships North Carolina in Cary, North Carolina, 15 players were awarded All-Tournament Team honors.
Eight pitchers and seven hitters earned All-Tournament honors, including four from the gold medal-winning East Cobb Astros.
RJ Austin - East Cobb Astros
RJ Austin batted .353 with a homer and eight RBIs, scoring eight runs. Austin, who is committed to play at Vanderbilt, opened the tournament with a homer on Tuesday.
Nick Biasi - Northeast Pride
Nick Biasi, who is committed to pitch collegiately at Florida State, threw 4.2 innings with 11 strikeouts on Tuesday against Top Tier Americans. Biasi scattered two hits and a pair of runs.
Kolby Branch - Dulins Dodgers
Kolby Branch batted .435 for the week, driving in four runs. The Baylor commit had a hit in all six of his games, including two hits in each of the first four.
Cam Collier - East Cobb Astros
Cam Collier, a Louisville commit, put together a .389 batting average with a homer and eight RBIs. Collier scored seven runs and had a .478 OBP.
Cy Craig - East Coast Sox
Cy Craig had a team-best .444 batting average, driving in a run and hitting a double. Craig had a two-hit game against the Dulins Dodgers on Wednesday.
Cade Fisher - East Cobb Astros.
Cade Fisher struck out nine in a complete game shutout against Diamond Devils Black on Thursday. Fisher, who is committed to pitch at Florida, allowed just two hits and walked one.
Jalin Flores - USA Prime
Jalin Flores had a .545 batting average with six RBIs, while drawing four walks. Flores, who is committed to play collegiately at Texas, had a hit in all five games.
Brady Ginaven - Top Tier Americans
Brady Ginaven threw four one-hit innings, allowing no runs on Tuesday against Northeast Pride. The righthander struck out eight batters.
Casey Gouge - 5 Star National
Casey Gouge threw five innings of one-run ball against Canes American on Wednesday. The southpaw allowed just three hits and struck out seven.
Eli Jerzembeck - East Cobb Astros
Eli Jerzembeck turned in a strong six-inning performance in Friday’s gold-medal game against the Dulins Dodgers. The South Carolina commit struck out 10 while allowing just four hits in the win.
Termarr Johnson - East Cobb Astros
Termarr Johnson put together a .412 batting average, hitting a homer and driving in six runs. Johnson added a pair of triples and scored a team-best 10 runs.
Kyle Peters - Northeast Pride
Kyle Peters allowed just three hits, striking out nine in four innings against USA Prime National on Thursday. The UConn commit gave up just two runs.
Brennan Phillips - USA Prime National
Brennan Phillips struck out 10 batters in a five-inning, no-hit performance against 5 Star National on Tuesday. Phillips, who will pitch at Oklahoma State, walked a pair and allowed one run.
Jackson Proctor - Diamond Devils
Jackson Proctor owned a .429 batting average, accumulating six hits in five games. Proctor, who is committed to Clemson, had three hits on Wednesday against the Top Tier Americans.
Lincoln Sheffield - Dulins Dodgers
Lincoln Sheffield tossed a complete game shutout, striking out seven and allowing just three hits against Team Elite on Wednesday. The Mississippi State commit tied for the team lead in strikeouts.
