Santa Clarita, Calif. - Team USA could not overcome a six-run second inning by the Top Tier Americans as it fell, 7-5, in the final exhibition game of 2019 12U National Team Training, on Sunday, at William S. Hart Pony Baseball and Softball Park in Santa Clarita, California.

Team USA's starting pitcher Lucas Tinajero (Corpus Christi, Texas) (0-1) suffered the loss after allowing six runs, despite punching out five batters in two innings on the mound. Dillon Adkins (Mechanicsville, Md.) added five more strikeouts in two innings of relief. Top Tier Americans' Revin Weisser (1-0) earned the win after allowing a hit in one inning, while Trevor Goldenetz (1) earned the save.

Tinajero led the U.S. offensively after recording three hits and an RBI. Noah Meza (Chino Hills, Calif.) added the team's lone home run of National Team Training and recorded a pair of RBIs.
