CARY, N.C. — After a successful first season that saw 18 of the best WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS players in the United States compete for spots in the ePremier12 USA Finals, USA Baseball is proud to announce the launch of the second season of the USA eBaseball™ Power League.
Beginning today, and running through Friday, May 2 at 12:00 p.m. ET, residents of the United States can use this link to sign up for one of 18 spots in the league, which will be one of two qualifying paths to the WBSC eBaseball™ Series USA Finals later this year.
The USA eBaseball™ Power League is one of the biggest competitions in the United States for WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS on the Nintendo Switch console, where players will compete in a nine-week regular season against other American players to determine the best POWER PROS players in the country.
Those who register and are selected for the league will draft their own teams alongside their competitors and play one three-game series against a scheduled opponent each week. All games in the league will be recorded or streamed by individual league members, and the player with the best regular season record and the player who wins the playoffs or is runner-up in the playoffs will move on to compete in the WBSC eBaseball™ Series USA Finals later this year.
The draw for the preseason draft will take place on Saturday, May 3, with the draft taking place between May 9-17. The first week of games is scheduled to begin May 18, with the league wrapping up by Aug. 9.
Last year, the USA eBaseball™ Power League saw YG and Compass take the two spots in the ePremier12 USA Finals, with both competitors qualifying for the Opening Round of the HUGAN WBSC ePremier12.
