About the National Team Championships - North Carolina

When: June 16-20, 2026

Eligibility: To be eligible to participate in the 13U National Team Championships North Carolina, players must be born on or after May 1, 2012, OR have an expected graduation date of 2031. PLEASE NOTE: All players, whether born in 2012 or 2013, will be eligible to be selected to the 13U/14U Athlete Development Program (ADP).

PLEASE NOTE: Players born in 2011 will be eligible to be selected to 15U National Team Training Camp. Players born in 2010 will be eligible to be selected to the 16U/17U National Team Development Program (NTDP).

When: June 10-13, 2026

Cost: $3,450 (subject to change) - see the "General Information" section below for deposit requirements.

Eligibility: To be eligible to participate in the 17U National Team Championships North Carolina, players must be born on or after May 1, 2008, OR have an expected graduation date of 2027. PLEASE NOTE: Players born in 2009 will be eligible to be selected to the 16U/17U National Team Development Program (NTDP). In addition, players born in 2008, or later, will be eligible to be selected to 18U National Team Training Camp.

Location:
The National Team Championships North Carolina will be held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.

Roster Limits:
Rosters should include a minimum of 15 players.

Schedule:
Teams are guaranteed to play five (5) games at the 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, and 17U National Team Championships (weather permitting) and will not play more than six (6) scheduled games.

Cost:
A $750 deposit is due upon registration and the remaining team registration fee is due by May 1. Deposits and fees not submitted by the aforementioned due dates will have their tournament invites rescinded. Accepted team's deposits and full payments are not refundable after May 1. Teams that do not receive entry into the event will have their deposit and/or any other payments made refunded.

Hotel Information:

Team Travel Source (TTS), the official hotel partner of USA Baseball, guarantees the lowest contracted block rates for teams.

All non-local teams (defined below) are eligible to receive a $500 hotel rebate from their registration of $3,450. Non-local teams are encouraged to use one of the hotels provided and book through TTS for USA Baseball events.

USA Baseball will attain hotel rebates from TTS for teams that meet the minimum number of room nights. Earned rebates will be received approximately one month following the conclusion of the event (mid-August 2026).

How can my team qualify to earn the $500 rebate?

All below criterions must be fulfilled to qualify:

• Your team must be registered as a non-local team
  • A non-local team is a team registered via LeagueApps with an address over 100 miles from the tournament facility
• For the 16U and 17U age groups, each individual team must actualize a minimum of 25 room nights booked through TTS.
• For the 13U, 14U, and 15U age groups, each individual team must actualize a minimum of 30 room nights booked through TTS.
• The team name must be used when booking the reservation in order to count
• The team must stay at one of the official event hotels provided by TTS
• All bookings must be made directly through TTS or through the TTS designated reservation portal. Player/parent/coach reservations that are booked though the hotel directly will not be considered in the final room night report. Any reservations booked through a third-party provider (i.e. hotels.com, expedia, hotwire, etc), booked directly with hotel brand app, or through any method other than through Team Travel Source, will NOT count towards a team's room night total.
