CARY, N.C. – USA Baseball today revealed the 2025 Collegiate National Team schedule, which is highlighted by the return of the 45th USA vs. Japan Collegiate All-Star Championship Series. Team USA and Japan will continue a series that began in 1972 and play it in Japan for the first time since 2019.
“It is always exciting to finalize our schedule as we anticipate another great summer of baseball,” said Eric Campbell, General Manager of USA Baseball’s Collegiate and Professional National Teams. “We are looking forward to our annual Stars vs. Stripes series, which will be played across North Carolina, and then traveling to Japan for the first time since 2019 to play the 45th edition of our friendship series with its Collegiate All-Star Team. Additionally, we are excited to once again have the U.S. represented on the Fourth of July in a special prospect game with the select players from the Appalachian League.”
The summer schedule will kick off with the annual Stars vs. Stripes series at various venues across the state of North Carolina. The first game will be held at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis at 5:35 p.m. ET, the next three games will be played at USA Baseball’s National Training Complex in Cary at 6:30 p.m. ET, and the series finale will be hosted at Segra Stadium in Fayetteville at 6:35 p.m. ET. The Stars vs. Stripes series is a product of the Collegiate National Team Training Camp that features 56 of the premier non-draft-eligible collegiate players in the country. The 2025 Collegiate National Team will be named on July 4, following the conclusion of Training Camp.
The remaining players from the Collegiate National Team Training Camp will play in a Fourth of July game against the Appalachian League Select Team at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis at 6:35 p.m. ET.
The 45th USA vs. Japan Collegiate All-Star Championship Series will begin with games on July 8 and 9 at Es Con Field in Hokkaido, Japan, at 4 a.m. ET/6 p.m. local. The next two games will be held July 11 and 12 at Hard Off Eco Stadium in Niigata, Japan, at 3 a.m. ET/5:00 p.m. local and 10 p.m. ET/12 p.m. local, respectively.
