CARY, N.C. -- Huston Wynne took a no-hitter into the top of the sixth inning and Bradley Ramsden delivered a two-RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead Florida Burn to a 3-0 victory over Elite Squad to win the bronze medal at the 16U National Team Championships North Carolina on Sunday.

Florida Burn finished the inaugural tournament with a 6-2 record while Elite Squad finished in fourth place with a 3-2-3 record.

Wynne was untouchable on the mound until the top of the sixth inning. He struck out five Elite Squad batters in his 5.1 innings of work before being lifted with one out in the top of the sixth inning. Jacob Budd came on in a relief and picked up the win, retiring all five batters he faced. Jason Torres went the distance on the mound for Elite Squad but suffered the loss after giving up three runs on three hits.

Logan Tribble and Ramsden supplied the offense for Florida Burn. Tribble picked up an RBI-hit by pitch in the bottom of the fifth to score the eventual game-winning run and Ramsden (1-for-3) added some insurance with a two-RBI single in the bottom of the sixth.

Mason Balsis (1-for-2) tallied the lone hit for Elite Squad in the game.
