NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Baseball brought Aidan and Jackson Miller back to where it all started on Saturday, November 9, as the brothers co-hosted a Homegrown Clinic with USA Baseball at J.W. Mitchell High School. Joined by local coaches from River Ridge High School and Pasco-Hernando State College, the Millers shared their passion for the game while creating unforgettable memories for the next generation of players in their hometown.

“This has always been home for us,” Jackson said. “This is all we’ve ever known. To be able to do this means a lot to us. Growing up and spending our whole lives here, we’re so excited to give back to this community.”

The free clinic invited kids aged 6-12 to rotate through stations focusing on baseball fundamentals, including hitting, fielding, throwing, and baserunning. For the Miller brothers, J.W. Mitchell High School represents the foundation of their baseball journey.

“There are so many great memories here,” Aidan shared. “Our coaching staff—Coach Crowder, Coach Manion, Coach Koslin, and Coach Chittum—taught us so much, not just about baseball but about life. When you come here, you leave a better person. That’s the impact they had on us, and we hope to carry that forward.”

Jackson, who recently retired after being drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 2020, has returned to help coach the Mustangs under Head Coach Howard Chittum. “Howard had such a great impact on my life, and we’re still so close. Helping coach the team this year has been a great experience, and I hope to continue giving back to these kids for years to come.”

The clinic wasn’t just about refining baseball skills; it was about making an impact and creating moments of joy. The Millers embraced the opportunity to inspire local kids and foster a love for the game. “We’re super fortunate to run this event and give back to our local community,” Aidan said. “This is something Jax and I dreamed of doing since we were kids—hosting our own baseball camp. Seeing the kids smiling, running around, and laughing is what it’s all about.”

Their father, Jason, beamed with pride as he watches his sons take on leadership roles. “It’s a great feeling as a dad to watch your boys embrace the opportunity to give back to their community. To see them doing this organically, with passion, really means a lot. This opportunity with USA Baseball came at the perfect time.”

Throughout the day, the Millers focused on creating a fun environment while reminding kids to dream big. “I want the kids out here to really enjoy themselves and know that anything is possible,” Jackson said. “We were once little kids who thought it’d be impossible to reach the levels we’ve played at. Hopefully, we can show them that they can accomplish whatever they set their minds to.”
