
James Vick currently serves as the Senior Director, National Training Complex (NTC) Operations, for USA Baseball. In this role he is responsible for the day-to-day operations, field scheduling and maintenance of game-day logistics for the organization’s official training complex in Cary, N.C. Additionally, he is the national governing body’s project manager for Phase II development at the NTC which includes the construction of USA Baseball’s national headquarters and high performance training center.
Vick began with USA Baseball as a coordinator in 2012 and 2013. In 2012, he worked with the National Team Championships in Arizona, while in 2013, he oversaw National Training Complex operations.
He was named the Assistant Director of Operations in 2014 before being promoted to Director, NTC Operations and then Senior Director, National Training Complex Operations in September of 2020.
Vick has a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from North Carolina State University.
He currently resides in Apex, N.C., with his wife, Chelsea, and son, James.
