USA Baseball Invites 10 Athletes To 12U National Team Trials Following 11U Futures Invitational

12U National Team Trials will take place in Santa Clarita, California, beginning July 16

DURHAM, N.C. - Following the conclusion of the 2019 11U Futures Invitational on Sunday, USA Baseball invited 10 athletes to the 2019 12U National Team Trials. The 12U Trials will begin July 16 in Santa Clarita, California.
The four-day 11U Futures Invitational concluded on Sunday as MVP Hustle defeated Banditos Black, 13-4, to claim its second straight championship.
At the conclusion of Trials, USA Baseball task force members and the 12U National Team staff will select the final roster of 18 players for the 2019 12U National Team that will compete in the 2019 World Baseball Softball Confederation U-12 Baseball World Cup in Tainan, Taiwan, July 26-August 5. Team USA is the three-time defending world champion in the event.
In total, the 10 athletes invited to 12U Trials played for six different teams at the Futures Invitational, including three from Banditos Black and two apiece from MVP Baseball and I AM Baseball.
