CARY, N.C. - The USA Baseball 15U National Team coaching staff announced the 34 athletes moving on to Phase II of the 2019 15U National Team Trials on Sunday, narrowing down the roster from the initial 72.
The 34 athletes will be divided into two teams, the Stars and Stripes, and will play in a two-game series at the USA Baseball National Training Complex beginning Tuesday, July 30 and concluding Wednesday, July 31. Coaching the Stars will be Manny Crespo, Troy Gerlach and Karsten Whitson, while Jared Halpert, Drew Briese and Steve Butler will lead the Stripes. 
Following the conclusion of Wednesday's game, the 20 members of the 15U National Team will be selected.
The 2019 15U National Team will then train in Houston, Texas, from September 6-10 before traveling to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, to compete in the COPABE U-15 Pan-American Championships.
