PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla.- Carmine Lane was named the Player of the Day at the USA Baseball 17U National Team Championships in Florida on Monday. Lane of Rawlings Stealth went 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, and one run batted in.
Dylan Strickland of DRB Elite earned the Pitcher of the Day. Strickland hurled five innings allowing one hit with six strikeouts.
