Team Stars Overcomes Five-Run Deficit To Down Stripes, 10-6, in 2024 Women’s National Team Training Camp Game Two

• Stripes picked up right where it left and Jamie Baum put the ball into play to notch an early 1-0 lead for the away team.
• A quiet third made room for a noisy fourth, as Baum struck again for an RBI single while a two-out error plated a third run for Stripes.
• Action continued in the top half of the fifth, thanks to run-producing base knocks by Michelle Cobb and Anna Kimbrell to give Stripes a five run advantage.
• A three-run rally that same inning provided some life for Stars; a deep shot by Kate Blunt drove in a pair while Alyssa Zettlemoyer tacked on a run herself to close the gap and make it 5-3.
• Stars clawed within a run later that inning via a bases-loaded walk, yet the threat was thwarted and Stripes maintained a 5-4 lead.
