Condon had a memorable collegiate career with the Georgia Bulldogs, raking in numerous national awards while breaking multiple records in just two seasons in Athens. As a redshirt freshman 2023, he won conference and national Freshman of the Year honors and collected All-America mentions from four major publications. He followed that up in 2024 by winning the USA Baseball Golden Spikes Award, Dick Howser Trophy, and the Bobby Bragan National Collegiate Slugger of the Year Award, which are three of college baseball’s most prestigious awards. Additionally, he became the highest draft pick in Bulldog history that summer when he was selected third overall to the Colorado Rockies after leading the NCAA in four offensive categories and breaking the BBCOR-ear home run record with 37.
