Junior Nick Kurtz is now only five free passes away from setting the career walk record in Wake Forest program history. His 182 career base on balls entering May 20 led all Division I players, and he has averaged 1.1 walks per game over the course of his career.
Additionally, his 203 runs scored in his career ranks third in program history, and is 27 away from the program record of 230 runs scored. Kurtz leads the team with 21 home runs this season and has 60 home runs over the course of his career, moving him into sole position of second most in program history, and is now 11 behind former teammate Brock Wilken.
