Kyle Teel

One of the most durable backstops in the country, Kyle Teel has started every single game at catcher for the Cavaliers over the past two seasons. He’s having a breakout junior year in which he’s kept his batting average over .400 for entirety of the 2023 campaign. Teel is the catalyst for a Virginia offense that ranks among the top five in all of college baseball. He is the ACC leader in batting average, hits and hits per game. Known for his athleticism behind the plate, Teel has thrown out 12 would-be base stealers.
