Jake Gelof is the most prolific run producer in Virginia baseball history and was within striking distance of the program’s all-time RBI mark and single-season home run record heading into the final weekend of the year. Gelof became UVA’s home-run king with his 38th career homer earlier this season, and owns the top two RBI seasons in program history. He has recorded his second-straight 80 RBI year ranking him among the top five in the country in 2023.
