Kendal Ewell

Eastern Kentucky University outfielder Kendal Ewell is a multi-dimensional offensive threat. He is fifth in Division I in on-base percentage (.519), 17th in average (.400), 37th in hits (76), 48th in slugging (.684) and 54th in total bases (130). He leads the ASUN with a .386 average, is first in on-base percentage, second in slugging, fifth in hits, fifth in runs (55), fifth in home runs (14), eighth in walks (37) and 12th in RBI (50). After hitting .722 with five home runs, 10 RBI and a 1.611 slugging percentage in four games during the week of April 18-24, Ewell was picked as the national player of the week by multiple organizations. He received the Golden Spikes Award Performance of the Week specifically for his 5-for-5 game with three home runs, six RBI and four runs against North Alabama.
