Chris Alleyne

Chris "Bubba" Alleyne is one of the defining players in Maryland Baseball history. After returning to College Park for his fifth year of eligibility, Alleyne has been nothing short of remarkable for the nationally ranked Terrapins, leading the team both on and off the field. Alleyne is a threat from both sides of the plate as he sits in the top 10 in virtually every hitting statistic in the Big Ten. He's also set to join the elusive 20/20 club, hitting 20 home runs and stealing 20 bases in a single season. Alleyne is also a premier center fielder, robbing countless hits throughout the season. As the team's head captain, Alleyne was rewarded with the prestigious #3, given to a player that embodies the three pillars of Maryland Baseball: Toughness, Ownership and Growth Mindset.
