Sal Frelick

Boston College center fielder Sal Frelick was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and an All-ACC First Team selection in 2021. A five-tool prospect, he hit .359 with a 1.002 OPS, while providing highlight-reel defense night-after-night in his first season in center and just third overall in the outfield. Frelick hit 17 doubles, six home runs and two triples to go with 50 runs and 13 stolen bases. His propensity for delivering in the clutch was apparent at Auburn in an eight-run, ninth-inning comeback that he started with a leadoff-single and finished with a game-tying, three-run home run.
