Texas Tech junior infielder Josh Jung is one of the most talented all-around players in the nation and has followed his sophomore All-America campaign with yet another sensational season. His brilliance has been on display throughout the back end of the season, hitting .442 over the last 15 games leading into the final week of the regular season, with eight doubles, five home runs, 19 RBIs, 21 runs scored and 18 walks over that span. Jung flashed his defensive prowess and versatility by sliding from third base over to shortstop, shoring up a Red Raiders defense and propelling Tech to 11 wins in its last 12 games. Entering the final week of the regular season, Jung's offensive numbers rank among the Big 12's best in hits (5th), runs (2nd), home runs (5th), doubles (T-1st), RBIs (2nd), total bases (2nd), walks (1), on-base percentage (3rd) and slugging percentage (4th).
