Hunter Bishop

Sun Devil Baseball's Hunter Bishop sits second nationally in home runs (22) and one off the national lead in one of the most prolific offensive campaigns in the BBCOR era. Bishop is five shy of ASU's single-season record for home runs. The junior is ranked in the top 15 nationally in numerous offensive categories, including home runs, slugging (3rd), runs (8th), RBIs (14th) and total bases (4th). He has reached base in all but two games this season and had a 44-game on-base streak at one point, after reaching in the first 38 games of this season and the last six of 2018. The junior is ranked in the Pac-12 top-10 in every major offensive category and is top-five in average, slugging, on-base percentage, runs, RBIs, hits, home runs, triples, total bases and walks. He is a three-time Pac-12 Player of the Week and a unanimous midseason All-American by several media outlets.
