Austin Martin

Austin Martin is off to a historic pace for the Commodores. The sophomore, who was named First-Team Preseason All-SEC, is batting .428 (36-for-84) with 29 runs and 16 walks in 21 starts against ranked opponents. Martin leads the Commodores with 27 multihit games, including 13 in his last 18 outings. The Jacksonville, Florida, native leads the SEC in batting average (.433), runs (63) and on-base percentage (.518). He was named a 2018 Freshman All-American by Baseball America, NCBWA, Collegiate Baseball and Perfect Game.
