After winning the 2018 Golden Spikes Award as a sophomore, Andrew Vaughn produced an outstanding encore this season. The first baseman batted .374 with 15 home runs and 50 RBI in 52 games, to go with a .539 on-base percentage (third in the country) and a .704 slugging percentage (third in Pac-12). Considered by many as the top hitting prospect in this year's draft class, Vaughn posted three multi-homer games and 21 games with two or more hits. Most impressive, Vaughn did his damage despite seeing far fewer pitches to hit than 2018. His 60 walks (23 of them intentional) set a new Cal single-season record.
