Dallas Baptist senior outfielder Devlin Granberg was named the Joe Carter Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2018. Granberg ranks third in the nation in batting average, fourth in on-base percentage, and 21st in RBI. Granberg has totaled 87 hits this year, a mark that ranks as the seventh most in a single-season in school history. He is also on pace to break the school record for batting average in a season and establish a new career batting average record at DBU.
