Brady Singer

Junior Brady Singer has lived up to the preseason billing as a potential top MLB draft pick in 2018. As the Gators' ace, he led the SEC with 10 wins, posted a career-best 2.25 earned run average (best in the SEC) and limited hitters to a .186 batting average against (second-best in SEC). Singer has pitched at least 7.0 innings in 10 of 13 starts this year. He has allowed more than three earned runs just once this season. Over his last five starts, Singer is 3-0 with a 1.22 ERA in 37.0 innings. He's gone at least seven innings in all five starts with a complete game shutout at Texas A&M.
