California sophomore first baseman Andrew Vaughn enjoyed an incredible 2018 campaign as he followed up a freshman season in which he was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. Ranked at or near the top of the national home run list throughout the entire season, Vaughn finished the season tied for the Cal single-season home run record with All-American and former major leaguer Xavier Nady. A contender for the Pac-12 triple crown all year, Vaughn was the conference's leader in batting average, slugging percentage and on-base percentage.
