Before going on to be a top selection in the 2016 MLB Draft, Kyle Lewis was a consistent performer at the plate for the Mercer Bears. The outfielder batted .395 and totaled 72 RBIs and 70 runs in 2016, leading the Bears in hits (88), home runs (20), walks (66), slugging percentage (.731) and on-base percentage (.535). Lewis was also named Southern Conference Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.
