Marco Gonzales was named the 2013 Co-West Coast Conference Player of the Year and was named All-WCC. Gonzales fired a shutout against Arkansas on March 1 in Surprise, Arizona, scattering eight hits and striking out nine. Against Appalachian State, he allowed four hits while striking out 10 and walking two in another shutout. As a two-way player, Gonzales led the team in batting average (.311).
