Kris Bryant led the nation in home runs in 2013 with 31, which, at the time, set the NCAA single-season record in the BBCOR era. Bryant also set the San Diego career record for home runs with 53. Also in 2013, Bryant was named West Coast Conference Player of the Year and twice took home National Player of the Week honors.
