Justin Parr was named Big Ten Player of the Year and was a first-team All-Big Ten selection. Parr turned in the second-longest hitting streak in the NCAA in 2013 with a school-record mark of 33 games. He was named Big Ten Player of the Week for the week of April 8-14 after hitting for the cycle vs. Purdue, becoming first the Illini to accomplish the feat since 2009. Parr finished that game 4-for-5 with four RBIs and a career-high four runs.
