Eric Jagielo

In 2013, Eric Jagielo became the fourth player in Notre Dame history to earn Big East Player of the Year. Jagielo led the league in batting average (.392), slugging percentage (.640) and on-base percentage (.502) and finished tied for second in home runs (9), fifth in total bases (121), fifth in doubles (18), seventh in RBIs (51), eighth in walks (33), tied for eighth in runs scored (47) and tied for eighth in hits (74). Jagielo was held hitless in just seven of 54 games played this year and failed to reach base in a game just twice.
