Alex Bregman totaled the third most hits in the country this season with 90. He led the Southeastern Conference in triples (7), was second in runs scored (52) and batting average (.388), third in doubles (15) and fifth in RBIs (49). From March 6 to April 12, Bregman posted a 23-game hitting streak. During that span, he hit .495 with eight doubles, five triples, two homers and 24 RBIs. For the week of March 25, Bregman was named SEC Player of the Week after hitting .692.
