He was named SEC Pitcher of the Week after firing his fourth straight complete-game victory and his second shutout of the season in a 5-0 win over Florida on May 3. He limited the Gators to four singles and a walk and struck out three. Previously, Nola fired his second consecutive complete game and first career shutout April 19, when he blanked Alabama, 5-0, in Tuscaloosa. Nola allowed just three singles while recording one walk and 10 strikeouts.
