Kyle Winkler

Kyle Winkler, the 2011 All-MWC member, finished the conference season with a 4-1 record and a 1.89 ERA, and an overall 8-2 record and a 1.40 ERA in 90 innings pitched. Winkler was named National Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball and MWC Pitcher of the Week on April 4 for striking out 15 batters in seven innings of work against the Air Force. He has been named MWC Player of the Week five times in his three years with TCU. In the summer of 2010, Winkler played with the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team.
