Senior outfielder Jason Krizan has left his mark on college baseball. The Dallas Baptist outfielder slugged his 37th double of the season in the Patriots' 51st game to establish a new NCAA record. Krizan broke the record of big leaguer and former LSU Tiger Brad Hawpe, who hit 36 doubles in 2000. Krizan went on a 39-game hitting streak (11th longest in NCAA history) and finished the season No. 1 nationally in doubles (37) and hits (97), third nationally in RBIs (76) and total bases (166), seventh nationally in average (.431), and ninth nationally in runs (63).
