Grayson Garvin has been the model of consistency for Vanderbilt this year, going 11-1 with a 2.32 ERA which earned him the SEC Pitcher of the Year award as well as being named to the First Team All-SEC. He was named SEC Pitcher of the Week for an eight-inning performance at Arkansas when he allowed one run on two hits with six strikeouts. In his first start of the year, he tossed a career-best 8 1/3 innings, fanning a career-high 10 with no walks in a win at the University of San Diego.
