George Springer

George Springer has been an offensive force for UConn. Springer was named the 2011 Big East Player of the Year after hitting .379 with 51 runs, 12 home runs and 72 RBIs. He leads the team in runs, home runs and RBIs heading into the postseason. Springer was named Big East Player of the Week twice during the 2011 campaign. He now owns Huskies career records for runs scored and home runs with 46.
