In 2011, C.J. Cron became the first two-time Mountain West Conference Player of the Year. He was voted Player of the Year in 2010 and was also named Freshman of the Year in 2009. He leads the conference in batting average (.434), slugging percentage (.803), on-base percentage (.517), RBIs (59), hits (86), home runs (15) and total bases (159). Following a 2010 All-American campaign, Cron was selected as a preseason All-American by NCBWA, College Baseball Lineup, Collegiate Baseball newspaper and Baseball America.
