Taylor Jungmann

Leading the Big 12 as a freshman in opponent batting average (.193), ERA (2.00) and hits allowed per nine innings (6.18) in 2009, Taylor Jungmann set the bar high for himself heading into his sophomore campaign. The 6-6 pitcher more than delivered, following up his freshman All-American season with another spectacular year. Even in an incredibly deep pitching rotation, Jungmann stood out, logging a 6-2 record with a 2.20 ERA and 110 strikeouts. The Longhorns will rely heavily on the big right-hander as they look to pursue a national championship this season.
