Asher Wojciechowski had a busy summer in 2009, going 2-1 with an ERA of 2.18 for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. The performance gained him national recognition, and it helped the team capture a World Baseball Challenge gold medal. Wojciechowski picked up where he left off in 2010, going 10-2 during the regular season with 128 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.23. The right-hander pitched eight innings, striking out eight, as he picked up his 11th win of the season in a victory over Furman in the opening round of the Southern Conference Tournament.
