Anthony Rendon

A returning Golden Spikes Award semifinalist and still only a sophomore, Anthony Rendon has already established himself as one of the top players in the country. The third baseman's sophomore season has been even better than his remarkable 2009 campaign when he became the first player to win Conference USA Freshman and Player of the Year awards in the same season. He took home the Conference USA Player of the Year title again in 2010, and he led the conference in home runs (22) and runs scored (71) in the regular season. His stellar season has earned Rendon an invitation to the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Trials for the second summer in a row.
