After tossing a no-hitter against Michigan last year, Alex Wimmers had officially placed himself onto the college baseball radar. He was dubbed as one of the top arms in the country coming into this season, and Collegiate Baseball named him a 2010 Preseason First-Team All American. After taking over the No. 1 spot in the rotation his sophomore year, the junior righty continued to dominate hitters in the Big Ten this season.
