Dane Carter

Dane Carter played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Vernon (Texas) College, hitting at or above .400 and receiving first-team all-conference honors both years. In his first year in College Station, he helped the Aggies reach the Super Regionals, but he's played a much larger role this year, starting every regular-season game at third base. He leads the team in runs (66), triples (9) and total bases (154) as he tries to take the club one step further this year -- to the College World Series.
